Mr. Warren grew up outside of New York City on Long Island. In 1997, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a minor in Economics, from James Madison University in Virginia. Shortly after graduating he moved to London, England to work for the British investment house of Amatto, Clump, and Morton. While in London, he worked in the global treasury services division and than later capital markets division. He was responsible for tracking the performance different capital markets as well advising currency traders. During his time spent working at Amatto, Clump, and Morton, Mr. Warren was able to participate in drafting of an Initial Public Offering (IPO), which was offered on the London Stock Exchange. It was this experience that inspired him to go to law school.

Mr. Warren applied and was accepted to St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Warren excelled in both Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions while in law school. He became the first person in the history of the school to reach the finals of both the First Year Moot Court Competition and the First Year Mock Trial Competition. He was the winner of the American Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial in the fall of 1999, and was honored as the best speaker of the competition. Mr. Warren also traveled to national moot court competitions during his third year in law school. He graduated in 2001, and accepted a position with the Harris County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney (ADA.)

Mr. Warren has assisted the District Attorney's Office as an ADA in the Misdemeanor, Justice of the Peace, Juvenile, and Felony divisions. Mr. Warren has tried 18 Felony jury trials and enjoys an undefeated felony trial record. In the past two and half years he has only lost one trial. He has handled multifaceted Aggravated Robberies and Sexual Assaults. Mr. Warren was one of the ADA's hand-picked to prosecute doctors whom were sexually assaulting their patients in Harris County. He has prosecuted cases ranging from aggravated offenses to a complex consumer fraud case where a Defendant received a 99-year sentence. Mr. Warren has tried over 50 jury trials and has served the District Attorney's Office as a Chief Prosecutor.

Mr. Warren is one of the founding partners of Capitaine, Shellist and Warren, L.L.P. His practiced has primarily focused on protecting the rights of individuals and corporations who need aggressive and creative representation.
